We carry forward the spirit of a brilliant friend, celebrating curiosity, rigour, and generosity, by recognising young scholars and strengthening the schools and universities that shape them.
“Inspiring learning, empowering the future”, the promise we make in Clement’s name to every student we stand beside.
Established in 2025 to honour Dr. Clement Olufemi Ajayi through prizes, partnerships, and a long-term commitment to excellence in Nigerian education.
Grief sharpened our gratitude for a friend who believed in people before they believed in themselves. This foundation exists so that belief continues, in classrooms, laboratories, and graduation halls across the country he loved.
We steward Clement’s name with care, remembering the mind, the humour, and the standards he lived by.
Cash awards and public recognition help hardworking students feel seen, and aim even higher.
We work shoulder-to-shoulder with educators who share our belief that talent is everywhere, and opportunity should be too.

The Clement Olufemi Ajayi Foundation was created by family and friends to turn loss into momentum. We partner with selected primary schools, secondary schools, and universities to spotlight students who have earned the top of the class, especially where encouragement can change a young person’s trajectory.
Our work is intentionally practical: clear criteria, transparent selection alongside each institution, and awards presented at moments students will remember for life. As we grow, we hope to add mentorship and alumni networks so support does not end at the ceremony.
Clement Olufemi Ajayi was the kind of friend who remembered your deadlines and celebrated your wins before you did. He moved through the world with precision and warmth, whether in a lecture hall, a laboratory, or a conversation that ran late into the night.
This site is not only an organisation’s homepage; it is a gathering place for everyone who misses him. If you knew Clement, you already understand why education became our shared language of love. If you did not, we hope you meet him through the students we uplift in his name.
Education is how we keep a generous mind alive in public, visible, accountable, and still teaching.
We welcome stories, photographs, and introductions to institutions that share our ethos. The foundation’s inbox is read by people who loved Clement first, before any title or agenda.
Share a memoryEach partnership is personal: we listen to leadership, align on criteria, and show up when students are celebrated. Details evolve as we grow, so reach out if your institution shares our values.
